Decorated Vietnam hero Frank Vega returns home only to get shunned by society leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart.
It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again.
But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the Show some ass aren't doing anything about it.
I really enjoyed this film, it was almost a caricature of an action movie. Done with a brilliant subtle sense of humor. He goes from zero to hero, gets the girl, investigates crime scenes including cheese chalk out line and kicks some serious ass, in a way that we all wish we could Show some ass is of course impossible. It's almost comic book style.
Plus, we hear why more than one celeb wants to be snowed in with Idris Elba.
